Rusty's Strategic Tax Reform Plan (aka "Soak the Rich")

After 8 long years of feasting at the trough, our wealthy and porcine Republican friends are going to be asked, nay, told, to start paying their fair share. My Strategic Tax Reform Plan will make taxation in America fair and just for all.

Here is how it works. First of all, all income will be treated as ordinary income. Dividends, capital gains, and other income that generally goes to the rich will no longer be treated differently from the money you get from laboring at your job. No more special breaks for the income of the idle class.

Income up to $50,000 will be subject to a 10% credit. If you earn exactly $50,000 a year, the Government will send you a check for $5,000.

Income between $50,000 and $100,000 will be subject to a 10% tax. If you earn exactly $100,000 a year, you will owe exactly nothing in taxes. This is because your taxbill of $5,000 on the second $50,000 you earned is wiped out by the $5,000 tax credit on the first $50,000 that you earned.

Income between $100,000 and $500,000 will be subject to a 25% tax. If you earn exactly $500,000 a year, you will owe exactly $100,000 in taxes. This is because your first $100,000 is tax free but you mustt pay one quarter of the remaining $400,000 of your income.

Income over $500,000 will be subject to an 80% tax. If you earn exactly $10 million a year, you will owe exactly $7.7 million in taxes.This is because you owe $100,000 on your first half million and $7.6 million on the remaining $9.5 million.

As your President, I WILL BE COMMITTED TO GROWING THE GOVERNMENT TO A SIZE AS BIG AS AMERICA ITSELF!!!!! This Strategic Tax Reform Plan will allow us to fully fund all of our needs, including National Health Care and the Maximum Security Bush Family Containment Facility that I want to build near the Everglades.
